General rules for seating for children in Business class cabin
KLM flights: - B787-9 aircraft do not allow children under the age of 12 (including infants) to sit in window seats. Air France flights: - Aircraft with Best class (Cirrus seats), children under the age of 12 and their companions must sit in the same row across the aisle. Child uses a window seat, and companions can be seated in seats across the aisle. (The seats are arranged diagonally, so that the companion can check the state of the child.) - On A350-900 and B777-300 (472 seats) aircraft, children (including infants) are only available if they use the seat next to their companion with the seat numbers "E and G" in the central seat block. Car seats or harnesses are only allowed in this location.
Changes of the check-in counter at the Kansai International Airport
The Kansai International Airport South Wing, currently in operation, will be closed on September 23, 2020 for expansion work and will be replaced by the North Wing. In accordance with this change, the check-in counter for KLM flights will be changed as follows.

Temporary closure of KIX Airside Lounge
From 9th April 2020, Business class lounge "KIX Airside Lounge" at Kansai International Airport is temporarily closed until further notice.

Temporary opening Narita Travelounge
Due to the closure of our regular Business Class lounge “NARITA PREMIER LOUNGE”, we temporarily offer eligible customer access to the “Narita Travelounge”. This lounge is located in Terminal 1 next to gate 26. Eligible customers can enjoy free coffee and soft drinks and a choice of dessert. Our regular lounge is closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your kind understanding.

Complete Ban on carriage of Samsung Galaxy Note7
The U.S. Department of Transportation has issued an emergency order banning the carriage of Samsung Galaxy Note7 devices from commercial air transport. KLM will comply with this emergency order and no longer allow customers to travel with this device in any form – whether on their person, in hand baggage or as checked baggage. This ban applies to all AIR FRANCE, KLM and KLM Cityhopper flights.
